Hello, Hello! 

I'm Sarika Blondeau, Founder of Aligned Canine Training. With over 20 years experience, there's nothing I love more than understanding animals and helping them understand us. I started my first official apprenticeship training dogs 10+ years ago with a focus on personal protection, police, and service dog work, where I developed a strong foundation for each dog to grow upon. Since then, I've apprenticed under multiple other nationally recognized trainers and built my first pet dog training business while still in high school. When I moved to Canada, I started working with the local shelter and before long, was employed with the BC SPCA working with their most challenging cases across both dogs and cats as well as behavioral assessment. I continued working with other trainers upon returning to California while dedicating time to one of my passions, rehabilitation and rescue with the Canis Panther breed and developing my service dog Dahlia, who is AKC CGC Certified, has her BH, and is working towards IGP Level 1.

My passion lies in working with our dogs' natural drives and bringing out the best in every animal, especially when it comes to behavioral modification with fearful, reactive, and aggressive dogs. With the founding of Aligned Canine Training, I aim to bring dogs and their owners into peaceful alignment in all senses of the word. In my pack, ACTions speak louder than words. And I will teach you how to communicate with your dog in a fun and authentic way that matches your relationship.
